About

Hi, welcome to my site! Over the last eight years, I've been working on mastering the entire product pipeline: research, design, full stack engineering, and irl events. This follow-through has proven incredibly valuable: even if I'm not bringing a product from 0 to 1 (I often am), it's my edge to have strong context for where my work is coming from and where it's going to go.

Hence, I have a huge breadth of experience: I started in magazine design, majored in engineering / media studies @nyu , and then built two large consumer spaces in music by using (not centering) cutting edge tech. Each new world I put myself into makes me a stronger and more thorough designer –– and with recent advancements, the ability to maintain, own, and deliver a clear vision is more valuable than ever.

I see 'Do It Yourself' as a mantra and a community whose values guide me: I care fiercely about independent art, scrappy organizing, and IRL. As the 'roles' of 'Product Designer' and 'Software Engineer' start to collide for the first time in Silicon Valley, my focus remains on deepening my practices of creative research, mathematics, and community building in New York. These, in my opinion, are the secondary colors that allow people to actually be excellent in this new blend of responsibilities.

I care about the teams I work with more than anything – working and learning alongside top talent is my highest priority, and how I've been able to gain so much knowledge so far. If you've made it this far, please say hello! I treasure you.

Digital Service Provider

Digital Service Provider is an installation at BRIC as part of @bricbrooklyn's House Party series on March 8, 2025. Users plug their phone in and stream their own music through an audio-reactive television that deconstructs and reconstructs a live webcam.

Webcam, CRT, Headphones, Custom Software.

Streaming (anything) is not the process of allowing a free rush of data through, despite the word: it is a shared user/machine process of gathering and breaking, followed by receiving and unbreaking. Streams are rarely predictable or consistent. With DSP, I invite you to reflect on the flows that deliver music and on the aestheticization of streaming, listening, and capturing: streaming one's self, capturing one's music, and vice versa.

Close to You

Close to You (Car) is a performance dedicated to the cars we spend our lives around and inside. We love our cars in spite/because of how they divorce us. Part of my sustained investigation combining live music with coded visuals.

Car Door, Vocoder, Arduino, Projection.

Live Visuals

Custom visuals behind live music performances, done on commission.

TouchDesigner, Custom Software, Projection.

Quintaro

Quintaro is an album about daydreaming, climbing impossible heights, and moving forward. This is a biking edit, a "surrealistic glitch collage", a multi-multi-media piece. This is an ambient DVD to experience in real-time. Youtube ↑

Camera, TouchDesigner, Premiere Pro. Music by Quincy Davis.

Silk

Silk is a blogging platform for creative research, moodboarding, and subculture.

Software Engineering, Image Processing.

Shipped quality-of-life features across the platform during its beta in Remix, React Router, and Postgres. Optimized the image pipeline — fixing compression, EXIF handling, and the visual loading glitches behind complaints about slow load times — then migrated the database so the fixes applied retroactively to every existing post.
